Roma Hopes to Sign Zirkzee on Loan with Option to Buy in Winter, Buyout Fee Between €25M-€28M

According to reporter from Camel.live, Roma intends to loan Zirkzee in the winter transfer window and include a buyout clause.
Roma is in urgent need of a new striker this winter, and Zirkzee is their top target. Over recent weeks, Roma sporting director Marotta has maintained continuous contact with Zirkzee's agent Horacio Gaggioli. Exclusive news from Larom24 states that negotiations are underway, with Roma seeking a loan deal plus a buyout clause of €25M-€28M.
Manchester United signed Zirkzee for €43M in 2024, with his contract expiring in June 2029. However, he has only made 5 substitute appearances (90 minutes total) for United this season. Manager Amorin has practically sidelined him, so United may allow his departure in winter.
Zirkzee hopes to get regular playing time after leaving United to fight for a spot in next year's World Cup. His last Netherlands call-up was against Bosnia on November 19, 2024, and he has missed the past 10 national team squads.
