NY Plastic Surgery Director: Ronaldo May Have Spent $250k on Cosmetic Procedures, Including Teeth Work, Rhinoplasty, Hair Transplant

Dr. Eli Levine, one of New York City’s top plastic surgeons, revealed that since his debut at Old Trafford 22 years ago, the forward has allegedly undergone multiple cosmetic procedures to craft his imposing and handsome appearance.
Representatives for Ronaldo did not respond to requests for comment.
While Dr. Levine has not personally examined or treated Ronaldo, he first noticed "significant changes" in Ronaldo’s nose from before-and-after photos.
As the Director of Plastic Surgery at the New York Center for Plastic Surgery and Dermatology, Dr. Levine believes Ronaldo’s nasal bridge has become more "refined" and the sides of his nose “notably narrower.”
"This is consistent with rhinoplasty traces—adjustments were made not only to the nasal tip, which is indeed more refined, but also to the entire upper nose and dorsum, making them more three-dimensional.
This suggests that in addition to possible cartilage surgery, his nasal bones were likely broken and reshaped."
One of Ronaldo’s most striking features—and the most obvious change over the years—is his bright smile.
When he first arrived in the UK, he wore braces, with crowded teeth, gaps, and uneven tooth color—but just two years into his time at Manchester United, porcelain veneers seemingly transformed his smile.
However, Dr. Levine believes Ronaldo’s dental work may not have stopped at porcelain veneers.
"Previously, his gums would show when he smiled, but later they were completely invisible," Dr. Levine said. “This undoubtedly indicates he had some sort of surgery to reduce gum exposure.”
Dr. Levine explained there are two ways to address gum issues. The first is Botox injections combined with porcelain veneers. But he thinks Ronaldo may have also undergone surgery to reduce the upper gum area.
“He may have reduced that part of the alveolar bone and moved the entire upper dental area upward, which also eliminates that gummy smile.”
Beyond his sparkling teeth, one of Ronaldo’s most prominent facial features is certainly his smooth, shiny forehead—which Dr. Levine believes is excessively perfect for a man approaching 40.
In his assessment, Ronaldo is 40 years old, yet his lower eyelids, cheeks, and forehead look flawless. This likely means the international football star has had Botox injections to remove wrinkles and crow’s feet on the upper face, the surgeon explained.
Botox injections use a toxin to paralyze the muscles under the skin, preventing them from moving and deepening wrinkles. Results typically last three to four months, with each session costing between $180 and $750.
Ronaldo’s flawless high cheekbones also appear to have been "augmented," and Dr. Levine believes his cheekbones have also undergone “cosmetic enhancement.”
"His cheeks don’t look much different from when he was 18 or 19, but they haven’t deteriorated either. Overall, he’s slim and muscular—this is more of a compliment than a criticism. The thing is, when you’re 40 and slim and muscular, the fullness in that area usually decreases a bit.
The fact that he’s maintained this suggests he may have had fillers. So while it looks great, it could be injectable fillers, autologous fat transfer, or any other method."
However, Ronaldo’s secret to a radiant, wrinkle-free complexion may not be limited to injections. Dr. Levine believes a brow lift may have also made his 40-year-old appearance better than when he was 18.
Dr. Levine thinks Ronaldo may have undergone an endoscopic brow lift, combined with Botox injections and possible laser resurfacing, leaving him looking “clean and radiant.”
“This procedure typically only requires five small incisions at the hairline, so as long as there’s still hair, these incisions can be easily concealed. It’s one of my favorite procedures because it leaves almost no scars.”
Ronaldo does have a thick head of hair, enough to cover any potential scars—but this may be thanks to another procedure.
Dr. Levine stated that he may have undergone PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy, which uses a concentrate of the body’s own platelets to stimulate hair follicles and promote hair growth; he may even have had a minor hair transplant.
"If you look closely at his hairline, you’ll see it hasn’t changed at all," Dr. Levine said, pointing to Ronaldo’s thick, black hair. “Upon closer inspection, there’s almost no sign of change.”
“Of course, is it possible he has the best hair genes in the world? Absolutely. But it’s also possible he’s had some cosmetic work done. There really doesn’t seem to be any sign of recession. Even people with supposedly excellent hair genes usually have slightly receding temples, forming a small widow’s peak.”
Dr. Levine estimates that the total cost of Ronaldo’s suspected cosmetic procedures could be as high as $100,000, or even $250,000.
"I think this shows he did it right—and by doing it right, I mean the procedures he’s had can really help people, with natural, stunning, excellent results.
A common problem people face is that they try to rush things. But if you make small adjustments gradually over the years, the final result is very natural and excellent."
