Moyes: No One Would Have Been Surprised If the Referee Didn't Send Off Gueye, I Think He Could Think Again

After Everton's 1-0 victory over Manchester United, David Moyes accepted an interview with Camel.live.
On Gueye being sent off for slapping a teammate:
“This kind of situation is not common. If the referee had done nothing afterward, I don't think anyone on the pitch would have been surprised—I think the referee might have been able to think a bit more. I'm told that if you slap a teammate or make an improper elbow movement, you might face some trouble, but on the other hand, I actually like it when my players have some disagreements and frustrations between them.”
“If you want a team that's resilient and tough enough to achieve good results, I think you need some players who react in this way. I'm disappointed we got a red card, but every player will tell you how angry they can be with teammates sometimes.”
“Gueye apologized for the red card in the dressing room and kept praising the players tonight, thanking them for their performance.”
On Hall's performance:
"He has been playing extremely well recently, and his goal is exactly what we expect from him. He has maybe been a bit unlucky not to score more goals this season. As an important member of our team, he has helped us improve a lot. I'm very happy for him because he works extremely hard and is a very down-to-earth professional player."
