Manchester United & Chelsea Monitoring Karim Adeyemi’s Future; Borussia Dortmund Price Him at €80 Million

Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi has attracted interest from Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United, and the German international is also looking to leave the Black and Yellows.
The journalist stated that Adeyemi, who has decided to depart Dortmund this summer, has set his sights on securing a top-tier contract after shining at the 2026 World Cup. The 22-year-old German winger has a strained relationship with head coach Niko Kovač, which has fueled his desire to leave.
Manchester United have already inquired about the German forward. The Red Devils are interested in Adeyemi, whose contract with Dortmund runs until the summer of 2027.
United’s chief scout Jörg Vivell is well-acquainted with Adeyemi from his time at Red Bull Salzburg, where the winger played from 2018 to 2022. Vivell served as Salzburg’s chief scout from 2015 to 2020 and also held the position of sports coordinator from 2017 onwards.
In addition, Chelsea have been continuously monitoring Adeyemi’s future, with both giants keen to sign the German forward.
However, Dortmund have valued the player at €80 million. Notably, Adeyemi’s team has clearly expressed his desire to leave during recent contract extension negotiations. Dortmund are in talks with Adeyemi over a new deal, hoping to extend his contract until at least 2030. Represented by renowned agent Jorge Mendes, the player is seeking a release clause in the new contract.
