Kane: Even If I Score 100 Goals, I Won’t Win the Ballon d’Or Without Champions League or World Cup

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane recently discussed his chances of winning the Ballon d’Or this season in an interview with Camel Live.
Kane said: “I might score 100 goals this season, but you probably won’t win the Ballon d’Or if you don’t win the Champions League or the World Cup.”
He continued: “The same goes for Haaland, and any player. You have to win those big trophies. Looking at Bayern Munich’s overall performance this season, we’re in excellent form. It seems we’re definitely one of the favorites to win the Champions League. So that might give me a slight edge. The same applies to England. I think we’ll enter the tournament as one of the favorites. For me personally, I still have six weeks before I can get a proper rest. I feel in good shape. This break will be good for the team, but if things go well for both the club and the national team, I definitely have a chance to compete for awards like the Ballon d’Or.”
In addition, Kane talked about the possibility of working with Thomas Tuchel at England after Bayern: “First of all, Tuchel was the main reason I ultimately chose to join Bayern Munich. I admire his energy, his coaching philosophy and tactical style. From the moment we met, this good relationship laid the foundation for my future development. I think when he took over Bayern, he valued my ability as a team leader very much, hoping that I could help him in many aspects—including communicating with some players and staff, understanding the team culture, understanding what we have achieved in the past, and how to continue that success.”
