Jesus: My Knee Is Recovering Well, I’ll Return Once the Time Is Right

Recently, Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus gave an interview to the media, talking about his injury and announcing that he is about to make a comeback.
Gabriel Jesus has to hold himself back a little more, as he is on the verge of recovering from the "biggest injury" of his career.
In January this year, Jesus suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee and was forced to undergo surgery. The injury was a cruel moment for the Brazilian, who had scored six goals in seven games before being sidelined.
Jesus’ road to recovery has entered the final stage. He hopes to return as soon as possible, but he will not rush the last few steps.
"I feel good," he said. “My knee is recovering well. So now I’m looking forward to getting back to the team soon and doing what I love.”
“It’s been too long. An injury like this lasts so long that you have to break the recovery period into small phases.”
"So right now, I’m in a phase where I need to hold myself back a bit. I’ve been doing well off the pitch, but it’s tricky because I need to avoid rushing back too early.
"When you can see the end, the important thing is not to hurry, stay grounded, and then I’ll be ready once the time is right."
