Arsenal are four points clear of the field after 11 games thanks to an incredibly deep squad of world-class talent. Captain Martin Odegaard hasn't played a minute since Oct. 4 (just 204 minutes in the PL this season), thrusting summer signing Eberechi Eze (1 goal, 2 assists) into the spotlight even more than his $80-million price tag would have done. Leandro Trossard (2 goals, 2 assists) has picked up the slack in the wake of Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke's injuries have handicapped them thus far (1 goal, 0 assists between). And that's the benefit of a squad as deep as Mikel Arteta has cultivated six years into his tenure.
On the other side, Thomas Frank is three months into the job of trying to turn Ange Postecoglou's Europa League winners into a more stable, consistent competitor for the long term. 19-year-old Lucas Bergvall is the only fit midfielder with an attacking bone in his body, yet Spurs are punching above their weight to an increased emphasis on set pieces. Both sides have prioritized dead-ball opportunities (and will continue to do so on Sunday), but can Spurs create scoring chances any other way? Magic 8-ball says, "Not looking good."

Liverpool return to Anfield to host Nottingham Forest after a much-needed international break
Saturday's 3 pm kickoff sees Liverpool host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League after the international break.
The defending champions have been a shadow of themselves recently. They were completely outclassed by a strong Manchester City side before the break. The defeat marked a fifth loss in six league games. The run saw Liverpool drop from first to eighth in the table. It seemed like Arne Slot's men turned it around after picking up crucial victories against Aston Villa and Real Madrid. But the Reds were toothless in front of goal and naive at the back as Pep Guardiola's side tore them apart. Slot would've welcomed the break with open arms as he returned to the drawing board to figure out his side's strengths. The manager's tactics and the new signings' failure to make an impact made them an easy side to play against. They will be keen to turn things around at home against last season's bogey team.
Nottingham Forest have fond memories of their last trip to Anfield. Nuno Espirito Santo's side completed a smash-and-grab last time out. However, much has changed since then. It is Sean Dyche in the dugout now as Nuno and, later, his replacement, Ange Postecoglou, were sacked this season. If anyone could steady the ship and save them from an imminent relegation, it is Dyche. They have lost only once in five games under Dyche and picked up two wins. The 2-2 draw against Manchester United and the most recent 3-1 success against Leeds United saw them gather some momentum. Defence has been a cause of concern for the visitors as they conceded first in eight of their previous 10 games. Expect Dyche to fix that and field a defensive blockade at Anfield.

Newcastle United host 2nd placed Manchester City in the Premier League after the international break.
There are two versions of Newcastle United this season: one capable of winning with clinical precision, and another that could lose back-to-back Premier League games 3-1. The clinical wins came in the Carabao Cup and the Champions League at home. The two damaging defeats in the league away to West Ham and Brentford saw them drop to 14th place. Eddie Howe will be hoping the clinical version is on show this Saturday at home against City.
Pep Guardiola celebrated his 1000th game in charge by outclassing Liverpool. It was also a statement to the rest of the league that the Cityzens are title contenders. Pep's shark team are on a four-game winning run and would've cursed the timing of the international break. They also capitalised on Arsenal's slip-up and closed the gap to just four points at the top. With fixture difficulty easing now, expect City to be ruthless. St. James' Park has delivered some classic encounters between these sides recently, and fans will be hoping for more of the same.

With the November international break now over, Burnley FC are gearing up to take on Chelsea for their matchweek 12 fixture of the English Premier League 2025-26 season. Turf Moor will witness an interesting outing between these clubs.
The Clarets have come up with lacklustre performances and are hence placed 17th on the league table. They have only won three of their 11 matches in the competition and are not looking in good touch at the moment. Burnley FC have come up with poor performances in their last two matches.
Chelsea defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers by a scoreline of 3-0. It was a dominating effort by them. They are doing well in the league so far. The Blues are placed third on the Premier League points table and a win can get them to the second spot. They will be away from home for their next outing, but their confidence levels will be on the positive side.

Matchday 12 of the Premier League ends with a Monday night clash as Manchester United host Everton.
The Red Devils return from the international break as one of the form teams of the league, going five straight matches without a loss. Their resurgence has boosted them to seventh in the standings before this weekend's matches, which is a vast improvement over their residence in the bottom half of the table for much of the early part of the campaign.
While things are positive at Old Trafford, they could still be better. Man United headed into the break on the back of consecutive draws, keeping them from pushiung into the top five.
They now welcome an Everton side that have showed similar promise but have also struggled with inconsistency. Manager David Moyes has built a team with many attacking options, but cohesiveness has eluded the Toffees and they remain in the bottom half of the table.
However, Everton were winners in their most recent league match, giving them a humble two-match undefeated streak that they'll look to extend here.
