Hainer: I Believe Kompany Can Create an Era at Bayern Like Heynckes and Guardiola

Bayern Munich Supervisory Board Chairman Herbert Hainer praised Vincent Kompany’s coaching work at Bayern in an interview with the media.

Hainer said: “I believe Kompany can create an era like Jupp Heynckes, Ottmar Hitzfeld or Pep Guardiola. Our team is very united, the players get along well and have strong cohesion, and I think he has played a crucial role in this. Kompany knows how to lead players and understands how Bayern operates. He was a great player himself and served as Manchester City’s captain, so he has innate authority and is respected by the players. He never puts himself first, and the players repay him for that.”

Regarding Julian Nagelsmann, Hainer said: “Nagelsmann will definitely become a very excellent coach, but he still needs to accumulate experience. He is still very young and is currently gaining experience with the German national team. Maybe he will return to Bayern one day.”
