CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers Final Round: Panama, Curaçao, Haiti Secure Direct Qualification

The CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football) World Cup Qualifiers have concluded in full.
The final qualification results of the third round are as follows:
Secure direct qualification for the World Cup: Panama, Curaçao, Haiti
Advance to Intercontinental Playoffs: Jamaica, Suriname
Eliminated: Honduras (the worst-performing runner-up), Guatemala, El Salvador, Trinidad and Tobago, Bermuda, Costa Rica, Nicaragua
Before the final round, Suriname topped Group A, but they trailed Guatemala 0-3 for a long time in the decisive match. If this score had held until the end, they would have fallen from Group A leaders to the worst-performing runner-up and been eliminated directly.
However, Suriname benefited from a crucial own goal in the dying moments, allowing them to edge past Honduras on goal difference and narrowly claim a spot in the Intercontinental Playoffs.
