Barcelona legend Lionel Messi posted a set of photos on his personal social media, showing his return to Camp Nou, where he played for many years.

Surprisingly, Barcelona insiders confirmed that no one within the club knew Messi had returned to Camp Nou.

News of Messi's return to Camp Nou spread rapidly on social networks. The club only learned of it from the internet early this morning local time, and in fact, (the club) still hasn't figured out how he got into the stadium.

Camp Nou remained closed to the public during construction. It was reopened on November 7, and as a pilot, an open training session with 23,000 fans in attendance was held.
